Creek Discovery Day: Exploring a creek and riparian restoration
A family-friendly event for explorers of all ages

And part of Lancaster Conservancy Water Week 2026

Location 10 minutes southwest of Manheim (directions provided with registration)
What we’ll do
Identify the different trees, shrubs, and pollinator plants in this streamside planting.
Explore the creekside, the critters that live there, and see how the stream was restored.
Younger kids can build birdhouses to take home ($5 donation requested to cover supplies).
Content suitable for K-5, but also OK for all ages

Space will be limited! Register early!
With participation from PSU Extension, MCHS FFA,
Lancaster County Conservation District, and the Lancaster Conservancy
