Creek Discovery Day: Exploring a creek and riparian restoration

A family-friendly event for explorers of all ages

And part of Lancaster Conservancy Water Week 2026

Time 5-6:30PM

Location Just a few minutes southwest of Manheim (directions provided after registration)

What we’ll do  

• Discover the different trees, shrubs, and pollinator plants in this streamside planting.

• Explore the creekside, the critters that live there, and see how the stream was restored.

• Younger kids can assemble bluebird houses to take home. We'll also install a few on-site. Supplies are limited, so we'd like to target about 1 bird house per household. 

• Content suitable for K-6, but also OK for all ages
